Data source

Live quotes are fetched from Wise's public comparison endpoint, which aggregates rates from major money transfer operators (Wise, Remitly, Xoom, MoneyGram, WorldRemit, Instarem, OFX, Skrill) and the largest retail banks across the US, UK, Canada, Singapore and India. Wise refreshes this data on its own schedule — typically every few hours per provider.

Each request to ForexFee triggers a fresh fetch unless we have a recent cached copy at our edge (5-minute window). The "Updated X ago" timestamp shows when our cached snapshot was taken.

Currency coverage

Live data is currently available for:

• USD, GBP, CAD, SGD, AUD, EUR → INR
• USD, GBP → PHP, MXN, PKR, BDT, NGN

AED corridors (UAE → India) currently fall back to indicative sample data because Wise does not aggregate UAE-based providers. We're working to add a dedicated source for that corridor.

How we rank providers

The default sort order is Best value, defined strictly as the amount the recipient receives in their local currency after fees and exchange margin. The provider that gives the most sits at #1.

You can re-rank the list on any corridor page by lowest fee, fastest delivery, or alphabetically. Filters let you narrow to no-fee options, money transfer operators only, or banks only.

Speed estimates

Wise reports its own delivery duration but rarely provides this for other providers. For everyone else we display a label based on each provider's published service standards (e.g. "Minutes" for cash pickup networks like MoneyGram, "1–3 days" for bank wires). These are best-effort, not guarantees — actual speeds depend on payment method, time of day, recipient bank, and KYC checks.

Affiliates and editorial independence

Some "Send" buttons are affiliate links. We may earn a referral fee from certain providers when you choose them via ForexFee. This is never paid by you and does not influence the rate the provider quotes.

Affiliate status does not affect ranking. The list is sorted purely on the value delivered to the recipient. If a non-affiliate provider gives more, it appears above an affiliate one.

Limitations

• Quoted rates are indicative. Always verify the final amount on the provider's own site before transferring.
• Some providers tier their fees by amount or payment method; we display the rate Wise's API reports for the requested amount.
• Promotional rates (first-transfer bonuses, referral codes) are not always reflected in upstream data.
• Currency coverage is limited to what Wise's comparison endpoint exposes.
